THE WILLIAM S. HOWARD
CHARITABLE TRUST
The William S. Howard Charitable Trust was established in the early 1980s and reflects the philanthropic passion of Bill Howard Sr. The Trust has eighteen beneficiaries that support the treatment, rehabilitation, care, or training of mentally or physically handicapped or disabled children in Winnebago County, Illinois; or athletic or recreational facilities or opportunities for economically disadvantaged children in Winnebago County.
Grants are approved by a board of trustees (comprised primarily of board members from beneficiary organizations) annually to support identified funding requests.
